I really do have a terrible memory...

     Day 3... I really do have a terrible memory folks. I get so engaged in saving the kids that I forget to post what I was doing.. to save the kids! So, Day 3 started with the WHOLE Chouinard family trying to tackle some goals that Elcee had set for us. 

1. Build a giant mansion

2 Go to the end

Neither of which we accomplished. I'll tell you what we did accomplish.. Dying.. A LOT. No worries though. The real goal is to help the children that use The Children's Miracle Network not have that issue. 

    After the Minecraft block was over we all ate some lunch. Gotta fill the tums with the yums in order to get things done. 

    Then it was right back at it. Nuk and I jumped into 7 Days to Die together and again.. managed to get nothing accomplished. Nuk died alot. I just ran around to different biomes trying to gather things. Then threw all of those things into a storage chest that I never returned to. Either way it was still a TON of fun. I forgot how fun 7DtD actually is. So many updates. And with that. The day was over. It's time for dinner and then bed. Don't worry though. Arcadegeddon.. not Armageddon.

 

Arcadegeddon was a blast! Pun totally intended. Super fun 3rd person over the shoulder shooter with some roguelike aspects. Lots of different weapon types, lots of traits to gather, and oh yeah.. lots of POWERSLIDES! I actually really enjoy the soundtrack as well. Played this little gem with the Gaiscioch crew as well. We had the difficulty up to 10 by the time we lost to our second boss. He loves to heal to full and spawn tons of adds. The adds is what did is in. A ton of customization options as well. Had a little bit of spaghetti for dinner and now were on to the next one. Anacrusis. While I'm not a huge fan of the game because of how generic it is, it is still a fun little shooter. Takes place in space too! Wooo aliens!

Good Morning Everyone!

Who else is bright-eyed and bushy tales today? Not Brett, he is getting too old for those 2 am gaming sessions. This is just a quick update because we are about to start Smite with the miniChouinards!

Day 2...   Smite with the minis was super fun. I may have accidentally put the whole family into a game with REAL people! Oops. After getting through that debacle, we were able to play a classic coop game with medium tier bots. I tried out the new god Maui, who is a super fun CC heavy guardian. Nuk played as Olorun and went super tanky in lane against Amateratsu. It actually worked out really well because his lane was the only one to push. The little ones played as Neith and Bellona. They stayed back and guarded the phoenixes most of the game =P. Ckem played Loki and SMASHED the minion damage numbers with over 200k! I'm now off to play Space Punks with the Gaiscioch Fam after eating some super yummy potato soup for lunch that Ckem had made.

And all the fun was had...

Day 1... We found ourselves in territory previously traveled. Nuk and I joined our Gaiscioch kin in Gloria Victus where we slayed many a foe. Nuk enjoyed stabbing things with a stick that he had found. There was not much time to transition into the next game or I wouldve made a post between each. Next on the agenda was a super fun game called Warlanders. Nuk and I teamed up on an assault squad to sack the opposing teams castle. Unfortunately we were paired against Fog, Pedro, and Trithian... who proceeded to trounce us. After our first match, Nuk was sadly unable to continue as our second pc is a bit outdated and had a hard time keeping up. He was super excited to be part of Extralife again this year and will be joining us again in the morning to raise money for the kiddos in need. After Warlanders, Fog and I teamed up with the community manager for Avalanche Studios to take back the Earth from dinos in Second Extinction. I really enjoy Second Extinction. The soundtrack is awesome, the artwork is awesome, the gameplay is awesome, and it has dinos! So in the morning, we will be starting with some whole family fun in Smite!
