It seems as though I am forever destined to post the day AFTER I've played, which is not an issue. So yesterday I found out that I can play xbox games on my phone. AWESOME!!! This only occurred to me after the day was almost done. In the morning I decided that it was my time to enjoy the battlegrounds of the gods, so I loaded up Smite and played a couple of assault matches. The Izanami game went fine but the Susano game was awful (although Shavonne won it for me =P).  Susano does not do well in assault when he is the only front line. That usually ends in disaster, unless you put him in the hands of the most brilliant assault assassin player of all time.

After I finished Smiting I attempted to earn Shavonne enough silver in Conqueror's Blade to buy a migration token to move closer to our Fief. She was excited to join us in Territory Wars as she had never really been involved in one. Sadly I was unable to make enough but it was ok since she was already in the area with a few troops on hand. 

When I earned as much silver as I could for Shavonne I moved on to Gatewalkers. I started playing this game for Extra Life and instantly fell in love with it. It just made sense to jump back into it before Extra Life ended.

After dinner it was time for Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Breakpoint.  But we broke it.. so no Tom Clancy.

After Ghost Recon it was time for Territory Wars in Conqueror's Blade. It was good that Shavonne had units on hand near our Fief so she could partake in her first TW with Gaiscioch.  We held our Fief valiantly (no one came up to visit us =() and offered some defense support to our alliance who was being hit by the AI Cohort Legion.  All in all it was a successful night in TW marking another successful day for our Extra Life marathon. Ok. So here's the tallies so far. Brett has been crushing it at a total of 10 hours so far. Aidyn is no too  far behind, but because he has school, has accumulated less at 4 hours.

Brett's crappy memory recap.

We got so wrapped in saving the kids yesterday that I completely forgot to update the blog! After fighting off the anglo-saxons with the might of the Slav cavalry and the help of Fog controlling the German and Viking units we dropped into one of my favorite games in the last 20 years. Tom Clancy's The Division 2 has everything I love in a game. Shooting, looting, and character progression help me to save Washington DC and the kids IRL! And to think, all of these things are accomplished without a jump button! 

Once we finished collecting intel on the rogue agent called "Wraith" it was sadly time to move on to our next endeavor in a game that was new to me.  I almost instantly fell in love with Gatewalkers. This game pits you against nature, wildlife, and aggressive humanoids called the Surians while you fight to collect enough resources to heal your dying world. Not to mention you have to fight your own nightmares if you stay out in the dark too long. One of my newest loves in gaming being the survival/crafting game, I will definitely buy this blend of hack and slash mixed with survival and crafting aspects. Gatewalkers WILL be in my repertoire.  I chose the path of the tanky guardian to quell the tides and take the beating for my fellow party members Izzmina and Fog.  A while into the set Maligor joined us as well and we finished strong with a few quests under our belt. 

Don't forget that The Chouinard Family will be gaming all week alongside our Gaiscioch Teammates so there is plenty of time to toss a coin to save the kids. (Witcher reference anyone?) Head over to The Chouinard Family donation page and give a child an Extralife.
